Police arrested six people early Saturday morning, right in here in Charlotte, in connection to the Waka Flocka shooting! Police charged Xavier hoover, Andre Sellers, Antonio Stukes, David bellamy, Antonie Washington and Berry Lawrence with robbery with a dangerous weapon and discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling!

Waka just can’t seem to get away from trouble! He’s one of four people being questioned by police after a shooting on the eastside of Charlotte, although police say he’s not a suspect. But they are investigating what part he and his crew played in the shootout. He reportedly stopped at the Car Stereo Warehouse on Independence yesterday afternoon to get some upgrades to his tour bus, but instead a group of guys drove into the parking lot and started shooting. One person was shot in the shoulder! Police are still trying to figure out what happened.

Did Lil’ Kim Really Sell 113,000 Copies “Black Friday?”
I’m trying to figure out if Lil’ Kim is lying about how many copies of her mixtape she sold. She’s claiming that her “Black Friday” mixtape sold 113,000 copies at $10 a pop through PayPal. The Queen B tweeted that this makes her the “Number-one seller on PayPal ever.” I highly doubt that. But if you did order the mixtape, you’ll have to wait for it to come in the mail, there aren’t any downloads! Men lie, women lie, numbers don’t…supposedly.

Waka Flocka is a free man! He was released from jail in Atlanta yesterday after posting $40,000 bail. He turned himself in on Monday after a warrant was issued for him. He's facing a bunch of charges including possession of marijuana, and possession of violating state anti-gang laws!

T.I. Gets Caught Getting It In
Speaking of jail birds, T.I. is back in trouble! This time for getting a lil too frisky with his wifey, Tiny. Supposedly, she visited him in prison in Arkansas on New Year's Eve and he couldn't keep his hands off her. During a visit T.I. and Tiny snuck off to a secret room and started messing around, they ended up getting caught, so now Tip has been moved to a "Special Housing Unit," with more security and less freedom! I'm beginning to think that T.I. is slow and doesn't learn!

Snoop Wanted To Do Some Freaky Things
Speaking of getting it on, Snoop was allegedly doing just that! A snitch told Mediatakeout.com that Snoop showed up to a bachelor party for British dudes that was full of skippers! It’s a new year and most people are looking forward to making 2011 good, except...Waka Flocka. Oh no, his 2011 is getting off to a bad start! He recently turned himself to police after they raided his house last month. He's facing gun and weapons charges, a probation violation and allegations that he's involved in gang crime. His mom said he turned himself in because "he wanted to do the right thing and didn't want to run."

Gucci May Be Heading Back To Prison
Bad judgment seems to run in the family! A judge recently recommended that Gucci Mane spend a year in prison for violating probation. Guch was arrested in November for reckless driving and assault. Cops had to pepper-spray him to get him under control and he was also detained at Waka'a house when it got raided! What a family tree!

Lil Kim Is Still Going Hard On Nicki
It looks like Waka and Gucci have company in starting the New Year out wrong! Instead of celebrating and focusing on herself, Lil Kim spent her time on stage at a show focused on Nicki Minaj. T.I. Opens Up About His Drug Habits
Since T.I. has started his 11 month jail sentence, he’s opened up about his drug habits. He admitted to using Oxycontin and Hydrocodone! He also said Eminem has been someone for him to lean on and help him along the way!

Here are some full excerpts from T.I.’s Vibe interview:

VIBE: I've heard you mention how the good that you've done is easily forgotten. Do you feel that you've been treated unfairly?

T.I.: If I place my value in the way humans treat me, then maybe. But they're human, man, they can't help themselves. They do that to people they know personally. So how can I expect them to treat me, only knowing me through television? They did that to Jesus. They did that to Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Muhammad Ali. They did it to every great person you could possibly think of. When it was all good, they was with them. When things got bad, then they was against them.

VIBE: But in this case things didn't "get bad." It's something you did.

T.I.: Let me just say this: [he sits up on the couch] If you look at a guy who came up, no pops in the house, moms on welfare, food stamps; started selling dope when he was 12, 13 years old, came up handling guns, being in shoot-outs; started going to jail when he was 15. In all of this chaos and this mischief and lawlessness, the person who was just in jail for machine guns and silencers turns his life around. And now you want to crucify him for what? Three pills. I mean, of course it's wrong and unacceptable and inexcusable. No problem. But in the grand scheme of things, it's rather petty. It's rather petty to hold someone's feet to the fire for something so small when they have overcame things that were so big. All that could have been going wrong if I was riding with more guns, or if I had gotten into a shoot-out and killed somebody, then I could see that. But just think about it. I've gotten it down to this much.

VIBE: How did you get a drug habit?

T.I.: I had a lot of work done to my teeth. Oral surgery, extractions, six, seven, eight root canals. Between January to February. As soon as I got out, I had a lot of stuff done. In the joint, you eat shit that is unhealthy for you. I had fillings that fell out and stuff that had to get dealt with. Of course for the pain they gave me oxycontin and hydrocodone. And, mind you, on October 13, 2007, I had cut off everything, weed, alcohol. Then I get these pills and I start taking them for the pain at first. And then I'm like, Wait, this sh**t makes me feel good. And it's legal. After the pain went away, I kept taking it. I had like five, six prescriptions. So I had, like 80 pills. Everybody else might have a drink or smoke a blunt, I took a pain pill. Times when I had 18-, 20-hour days, I'd take a pain pill. And eventually I developed, I guess, the beginning stages of dependence.

VIBE: Have you talked to Eminem about addiction?

T.I.: Sure. We got a record together, and we talked a lot. I asked him how he knew he was an addict. Basically if you put yourself in harm's way… if you risk that, you've got to assume that there is something fundamentally wrong with your thought process.

He’s facing charges of second degree assault, but his lawyer basically says his mother’s drug problem is to blame! Mario’s lawyer issued this statement: "Anyone who has waged the battle to save loved ones from the forces of drugs knows the irrational behavior that almost always accompanies their actions. Despite the allegations, Mario remains committed to supporting his mother."

Well Slim took to Twitter to voice his opinion of the Boss, saying, “Just threw Rick Ross CD out of the roof of the coupe…haters get no play in my ride.” Ross responded with, “Real n*ggas pick up phones…a boss would kno better.”




Usher Speaks On His Marriage
It must be something in the water because everyone seems to be speaking their mind! Usher spoke to People Magazine about his marriage to Tameka Foster. He said, “I love her as the mother of my children, we just couldn’t be married…We’re two different people.”

Looks like Kanye West and MTV may have kissed and made up! According to a source, Yeezy will be performing at this year’s Video Music Awards…just one year after jack-moving the mic away from Taylor Swift. The VMAs air September 12!

Bow Wow’s New Role
Bow Wow is following in the footsteps of LL Cool J, Ludacris and Ice-T. It seems like his acting career is popping off more than his music career. He recently confirmed that he will be starring in the latest Tyler Perry movie, Madea’s Big Happy Family. The Lottery Ticket, starring Bow Wow, is in theaters August 20.

Did Kim K. & Reggie Bush Swap It Out?
TMZ is reporting that Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush got into a drunken fight at Bobby McCray’s wedding. Supposedly Reggie was talking to her about getting back together but was getting more aggressive and had to be pulled away from Kim by bodyguard!! Wonder what Amber Rose thinks!?!

Waka’s Mama Calls Out Vibe Magazine
Waka Flocka’s mother and former manager, Deb Antney, is calling out Vibe Magazine, saying they twisted what Waka said about his and Gucci Mane’s relationship. Vibe reported that Waka said he and Gucci said they don’t talk anymore, but she’s saying he meant that they don’t talk as frequently. She also said she nor Waka have beef with Gucci. You can’t stop mama from speaking her mind!



G-Unit is Gagging Young Buck
One person that shouldn’t be speaking his mind is young Buck. Tony Yayo recently said that G-Unit has a gag order on Young Buck. But it hasn’t stopped him from talking about 50 Cent. Buck recently said that 50 is blackballing him by not approving any of buck’s features (he is still contractually obligated to g-Unit). Tony also said Young Buck shouldn’t even be talking about him because he doesn’t even have a chain! "N*gga don't even got no jewelry, man, get some new jewelry and then talk about me man. You know? Everything upgraded. I'm trying to figure out what to get, the four-door Porsche or the new Jag." Wow, drama…

Fantasia Overdoses!
Speaking of drama, Fantasia’s life has been full of it! Her manager confirmed that she overdosed on aspirin and a sleeping aid, possibly trying to commit suicide. She’s been catching heat lately for rumors that she’s been sleeping with a married man! Plus, her alleged boyfriend Antwuan Cook’s wife filed a lawsuit!

Here's the statement in its entirety:

Fantasia has always been an open book. Honesty, self-respect, and personal responsibility are values she wears proudly.

Fantasia believed Mr. Cook when he told her he was not happy in his marriage and his heart was not in it. She believed him when he told her he and Mrs. Cook separated in the late summer of 2009. She believed Mr. Cook when he told her he lived elsewhere.

He even took her there. One of Mr. Cook’s most redeeming qualities was his complete devotion to his children. Fantasia fell in love with Mr. Cook and believed that he loved her.

Fantasia and Mr. Cook dated on and off for about eleven months. The pressure of the constant media attention was hard on their relationship. Fantasia gave inconsistent interviews about the status of her relationship with Mr. Cook because sometimes they were on and sometimes they were off.

When they were on, they spent most of their time together when she was not traveling with work.
Fantasia read Mrs. Cook’s Complaint against Mr. Cook for the first time yesterday. She knows some of the allegations in Mrs. Cook's complaint are totally false. There are others she strongly doubts. There is plenty she does not know.

Fantasia is heartbroken and is sorry for any pain she may have caused.

Yesterday, she was totally overwhelmed by the lawsuit and the media attention. Last night, Fantasia was hospitalized. She took an overdose of aspirin and a sleep aid.

Her injuries are not life threatening. She was dehydrated and exhausted at the time. Fantasia is stable now. She will be released from the hospital soon. Fantasia is a fighter and a survivor . This is not the hardest thing Fantasia has endured.

Fantasia will be stronger, smarter, and better for it. Her work has always inspired her and served as a source of strength. Her new album, “Back To Me,” will be released on August 24th.

GLADD is Mad...At The View
GLADD, The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation is on the rampage against Sherri Shepherd and The view. On one episode, Sherri Shepherd and DL Hughley blamed closeted gay African American men for increased HIV rates among straight African American women. Well, GLADD says it just ain't true! They want an apology and for The View to pride correct the information to its viewers.

The Dream Is Over
Speaking of apologies or lack of, I doubt The Dream will be dropping 5 stacks on a make-up bag anytime soon! Apparently, we're all late and need to catch up. According to a rep for The Dream, he and Christina Milian have been separated since late 2009. So, we shouldn't be shocked about the pictures that popped up yesterday of The Dream all boo-ed up with his personal assistant on the beach! Wait, since late 2009? Didn't they have a 2nd wedding in December and daughter in February of this year? I'm confused!?!



Tiger's Lawyer On The Attack
Well, one person who isn't confused is Tiger's Woods lawyer. He's in attack mode. He officially filed documents asking the court to throw out porn star DeVon James paternity suit against Tiger. Maury confirmed that Tiger is not the father! But this money hungry chick is still trying!

Waka "Flockin" to court!
What the Flocka! Waka Flocka may end up in court soon! The police department in Akron, Ohio confirmed that he's being investigated over assault claims. An unidentified woman says she was assaulted on his tour bus outside the Hilton. No one has been charged yet but Waka was arrested and detained.

Is Mel B. Goon Affiliated?
Speaking of assault, Mel B, from the Spice Girl and her husband are being sued for a heap load of money by a California real estate agent. He apparently had been appraise it but Mel and her man thought he was paparazzi and allegedly gave him a beat down, including breaking his hand and causing neck and back injuries. And Plies says he's a goon!

Walter Hawkins Passed Away
And finally in sad news, gospel singer Walter Hawkins passed away on Sunday following his battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 61.

Pall Wall Has Weight-Control Surgery
Paul Wall reveals he recently had gastric bypass surgery. He says he reached 320 pounds and was considered to be "morbidly obese" by his doctors. He said, "I tried doing it the legit way. I stopped sippin' syrup, stopped taking pills ... all that, but it ain't work. [The surgery] saved my life for real." Paul Wall's new album, Heart of a Champion, is due to drop July 13th.

2 Pac to be Inducted into Recording Registry
2 Pac is among the 25 legendary music artists being inducted into the Library of Congress' National Recording Registry this year. Pac's song has been chosen because it is a "moving and eloquent homage to both his own mother and all mothers struggling to maintain a family in the face of addiction, poverty and societal indifference."

Michael Jackson Memorial Concert Scheduled in Beverly Hills
Katherine Jackson has given her blessing for a tribute concert taking place on Saturday in Beverly Hills. "I know that Michael would be very honored and very pleased that his fans all over the world are coming together to celebrate his life," she said. Called Forever Michael, the show is being put on by Voice Plate Productions and includes a performance by Genevieve Jackson, Michael's niece and daughter of Randy.

Freeway Ricky Officially Files Lawsuit
Former drug kingpin Freeway Rick Ross has made good on his threat to sue rapper Rick Ross for trademark infringement. The lawsuit was filed Friday in U.S. District Court, Central District of California, and the judge will also reportedly issue a summons to Rapper Ricky as well as Jay-Z, who was president of Island Def Jam in 2006, when Ross was signed. Both of them could be called to testify. Freeway Ricky's lawyers also filed paperwork on Friday for a temporary restraining order for preliminary and permanent injunction relief, which would officially block the release of Ross' upcoming album Teflon Don. Freeway Ricky maintains that Rapper Ricky has profited off his name without his consent. Hmmm…sounds interesting!


Game's New Album Delayed by Lawsuit?
According to sources, Desperado Entertainment is trying to halt the release of Game's upcoming R.E.D. album because it's been cut out of royalties. The CD is set for an August 24th release, but Desperado filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court claiming that Game hasn't paid them royalties in accordance with an agreement they have. The company claims that, based on the alleged agreement, Game owes it a portion of licensing and publishing income from all of his record sales, of which he's paid none. Desperado also claims that Universal Music Group failed to account for and pay proper royalties while reps blamed "budget overages." Desperado Entertainment wants an injunction on the R.E.D. album along with an immediate advanced payment of $275,000, and unspecified damages.

Master P Teams with Magic Johnson
Master P and his son Romeo have teamed up with Magic Johnson to offer kids a free basketball camp. The Game of Life Basketball Camp is open to 1,000 children, ages 7-16. NBA stars on hand will include free agent Rashad McCants, former Suns guard Jalen Rose and, of course, Magic. "This will be an experience that these kids will remember for the rest of their lives," Master P said, "My basketball coach helped save my life, hopefully I can do the same for this generation."

Fantasia Won "Her" Man Back
According to reports, Fantasia has won "her" man Antwaun Cook back from is his wife. Cook had gone back to his wife in March, but Fanny went all out and allegedly bought him a motorcycle to get him back. And more than this, Fanny's album Back to Me was reportedly pushed back to August 10th because she wants to add another song ... about loving and trusting. Word is, Fanny wrote the song for Antwaun but removed it from the album when they broke up. She wants to put it back on there now that they're back together.

Waka Flocka Got Got
Someone recently paid Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka $10,000 ... but he paid it in counterfeit bills. We don't know who paid him or what for, but Waka was told he got 10 grand in $100-bills. When he checked them under the light later, they were actually $5's! Daaaayyyyyuuuuummm!

CHART ACTION: Drake's On Top
As expected, Drake's long-awaited debut album, Thank Me Later, debuts at number one this week, according to Billboard. It sold 447,000 copies its first week out, becoming the third-best sales week of the year for a single album (following Sade and Lady Antebellum).
