50 Cent Lets World Star Hip Hop Have It!
We all know 50 Cent don’t let beef go, so it’s perfectly normal that he’s right smack in the middle of a new beef. This time 50 is claiming that he put his army of lawyers on shutting down the video site World Star Hip Hop, which was down most of the day yesterday, but was back active last night. Well Q, the CEO of World Star had called into Angie Martinez radio show in New York to talk about what happened, but Fiddy wasn’t havin’ it. He called Angie and demanded to talk to Q! Aretha Franklin can’t seem to catch a break lately! First her son was attacked in Detroit and now her body’s under attack. A family member confirmed that she was diagnosed with cancer, although there’s no word as to what type of cancer it is.

Things Are Getting Rough For Tip
Bad news for another Atlanta Rapper! Things always seem to go from bad to worse for TIP. He’s behind bars and T.I. is the defendant in a lawsuit! An Atlanta sound engineer says he was beaten by TIP’s people when they accused him of stealing Killer Mike’s chain. He was allegedly threatened with a gun, pushed down a flight of stairs and beaten for more than 12 hours. The suit also says one of the attackers used his cell phone to record the attack and forwarded the video to T.I., who “did nothing to stop or prevent the assault.”

It was a pretty low-key release and his first public appearance is supposedly going to happen this weekend in Las Vegas with Drake and Sunday, Young Money is throwing a welcome home party in Miami. Now that Weezy is back home, maybe he’ll write a children’s book for Cash Money’s new venture, I mean he does have a lot of kids! Anyway, Cash Money is expanding, their new venture is called Cash Money Content and they plan on publishing 5 or 6 books per year. The first book will be “Raw Law: An Urban Guide To Criminal Justice,” which is due out in February.

Singer Mario Gets Good News
Mario has also got some good news. His mother, who accused him of assaulting her, has retracted her story. She admits that she was on drugs when she made it all up. Mario said, “I’m glad to be finally vindicated. I want to thank everyone who believed in me. I will continue to love and support my mother.”

Montana Fishburne, Laurence Fishburne’s blossoming porn-star daughter, has checked into a clinic! And no…she doesn’t have that thing thing! It’s an anger management clinic. Word is that she’ll also be examined for possible mental illness or behavioral problems. There is some good news for the aspiring star though, she landed a real modeling gig, doing a photoshoot for “Bullett” Magazine!

Shots Fired: Fiddy Is Back On Diddy
Buck, buck, buck, buck! Shots fired…again! Ever since 50 Cent took over his Twitter account from his record label, he has been causing straight mayhem! This time, he tweeted about Diddy, saying, “Puffys a fun boy a happy man, a fruit loop a lucky charm a skittle chase the rainbow lol.” Diddy, meanwhile, took the highroad and didn’t respond!

Young Buck Is Going After Fiddy
Diddy might not respond anymore to 50’s shots, but Young Buck is taking the bait. His new single, “Hood Documentary,” is a Fiddy diss! He’s also got a new mixtape coming out (which I am sure will have lots of Fiddy disses), called “The Rehab.”





Slim Thug And Rick Ross Hash It Out On Twitter
Another beef is heating up on Twitter! Rick Ross and Slim Thug got into it recently. Ross started things out when he put Slim’s name in the song “King Boss.” Ross rapped, "She dated Slim Thug/ Now she f**k with me/ She finally made it to the biggest boss, luckily." Well Slim took to Twitter to voice his opinion of the Boss, saying, “Just threw Rick Ross CD out of the roof of the coupe…haters get no play in my ride.” Ross responded with, “Real n*ggas pick up phones…a boss would kno better.”

It must be something in the water because everyone seems to be speaking their mind! Usher spoke to People Magazine about his marriage to Tameka Foster. He said, “I love her as the mother of my children, we just couldn’t be married…We’re two different people.”

Speaking of doing good in the hood, looks like “Takers” did just that! The movie did better than I initially reported yesterday. After Sunday’s receipts, it actually came in 1st place with $20.5 million, a slim lead over “The Last Exorcism’s,” $20.4 million, but a lead nonetheless!

Well Fabolous was moving too fast! He left his book of rhymes on the table at Morton's Steakhouse, and these are for his new album "There is No Competition 2." Fortunately the waiter ran him down in the parking lot and returned it.

Rick Ross Gets Called Out…Again!
Rick Ross is under fire from another crime boss. John Gotti's grandson Carmine isn't happy with Ross using the original Teflon Don because none of the changes they threw at him stuck! Carmine said "He should have asked for permission. A stand up, respectable guy would come and ask, 'If I could use the nickname,'" Carmine said. "I think he’s a great artist, but you can’t just start calling yourself that to sell records …He wants to go for that whole image, but hey, be yourself.
