More Drama For Melo
Whew wee!! Carmelo Anthony has more trouble on his hands and it’s all because of Rat, oops, I mean Kat Stacks! After the whole Twitter debacle between the two of them, when Melo offered up $5000 to whoever would smack Kat, she’s gone and gotten The Man involved. Kat confirmed yesterday on Twitter, that she did get the Feds involved! Let’s just hope that Melo’s account really did get hacked!
Brandon Spikes Exposed
Well another athlete is making headlines. New England Patriot’s rookie, Brandon Spikes, is having some exposure, or over-exposure issues! He allegedly made a sextape with a Kim Kardashian look-alike ex-girlfriend and of course it’s leaked, which means that SHE will be a huge superstar in about a month! Hey it worked for Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian!
Is Jay-Z Running Beyonce
Speaking of superstars, there’s a rumor circulating that Beyonce is cutting ties with her daddy, Mathew Knowles! She’s supposedly been ready to drop her dad’s management services, after drifting apart since his divorce from her mother Tina. She will supposedly hire Jay and his team to manage her career! Hmmm, I don’t know if that’s a good idea…mixing business and pleasure…but we’ll see soon enough!
Young Buck Is Fighting Back
Young buck is standing up to The Man! You may remember on August 3rd, I told you about the IRS seizing possessions from Buck’s Nashville home. Well Buck filed for bankruptcy protection shortly after the raid, so now the Gov-ment can’t auction any of his stuff off without going through bankruptcy court. They say he owes about $309,000. Hopefully Buck can get his finances AND career back on track soon!
2 Pac Is Coming Back To Life
Good news is you are a 2 Pac fan! The long-awaited, Tupac Shakur bio-pic looks to be close to becoming a reality! The movie will focus on the final days of Pac’s Life and production is supposed to begin this year! Oooooh, I’m excited! Throw ya dubs up!

If you're a 2 Pac fan you may want to be watching ESPN on September 7th to be watching ESPN on September 7th at 10:00pm; The 14th Anniversary of 2 Pac's death. Director Reggie Rock Bythewood is producing a documentary that follows the events of September 7,1996; the night Pac was gunned down on the Vegas Strip.
Did The Dog Catchers Come For Snoop?
Speaking of guns, the Oklahoma City chapter of the crips apparently has a problem with Snoop Dogg and threatened to bear arms at his show there! One of the crips said, "You need to give me a call, your concert is tomorrow and if you don't call me, I can't be held responsible." Well, nothing happened; so I guess it was an empty threat.
Fairytale for Tiny and T.I.!
Well, it finally happened! TI and Tiny finally got hitched! According to reports, they got married at a Miami courthouse and then had a second ceremony on an Island just off Miami. Guests included Jay-Z, Monica, Usher, Jamie Foxx, Kandi, Diamond and Jermaine Dupri. And how romantic, they entered by horse drawn carriage. Tiny wore a Valentino dress and Jamie Foxx and El Debarge sang for them! I'm so happy for them!

And if that was enough, Swizz beats and Alicia Keys got married over the weekend also supposedly on the French Island of Corsica. Alicia wore a white Vera Wang gown. Bono, Queen Latifah and Christian Louboutin were guests!

Pall Wall Has Weight-Control Surgery
Paul Wall reveals he recently had gastric bypass surgery. He says he reached 320 pounds and was considered to be "morbidly obese" by his doctors. He said, "I tried doing it the legit way. I stopped sippin' syrup, stopped taking pills ... all that, but it ain't work. [The surgery] saved my life for real." Paul Wall's new album, Heart of a Champion, is due to drop July 13th.
2 Pac to be Inducted into Recording Registry
2 Pac is among the 25 legendary music artists being inducted into the Library of Congress' National Recording Registry this year. Pac's song has been chosen because it is a "moving and eloquent homage to both his own mother and all mothers struggling to maintain a family in the face of addiction, poverty and societal indifference."
Michael Jackson Memorial Concert Scheduled in Beverly Hills
Katherine Jackson has given her blessing for a tribute concert taking place on Saturday in Beverly Hills. "I know that Michael would be very honored and very pleased that his fans all over the world are coming together to celebrate his life," she said. Called Forever Michael, the show is being put on by Voice Plate Productions and includes a performance by Genevieve Jackson, Michael's niece and daughter of Randy.
Freeway Ricky Officially Files Lawsuit
Former drug kingpin Freeway Rick Ross has made good on his threat to sue rapper Rick Ross for trademark infringement. The lawsuit was filed Friday in U.S. District Court, Central District of California, and the judge will also reportedly issue a summons to Rapper Ricky as well as Jay-Z, who was president of Island Def Jam in 2006, when Ross was signed. Both of them could be called to testify. Freeway Ricky's lawyers also filed paperwork on Friday for a temporary restraining order for preliminary and permanent injunction relief, which would officially block the release of Ross' upcoming album Teflon Don. Freeway Ricky maintains that Rapper Ricky has profited off his name without his consent. Hmmm…sounds interesting!
Game's New Album Delayed by Lawsuit?
According to sources, Desperado Entertainment is trying to halt the release of Game's upcoming R.E.D. album because it's been cut out of royalties. The CD is set for an August 24th release, but Desperado filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court claiming that Game hasn't paid them royalties in accordance with an agreement they have. The company claims that, based on the alleged agreement, Game owes it a portion of licensing and publishing income from all of his record sales, of which he's paid none. Desperado also claims that Universal Music Group failed to account for and pay proper royalties while reps blamed "budget overages." Desperado Entertainment wants an injunction on the R.E.D. album along with an immediate advanced payment of $275,000, and unspecified damages.
Master P Teams with Magic Johnson
Master P and his son Romeo have teamed up with Magic Johnson to offer kids a free basketball camp. The Game of Life Basketball Camp is open to 1,000 children, ages 7-16. NBA stars on hand will include free agent Rashad McCants, former Suns guard Jalen Rose and, of course, Magic. "This will be an experience that these kids will remember for the rest of their lives," Master P said, "My basketball coach helped save my life, hopefully I can do the same for this generation."
Fantasia Won "Her" Man Back
According to reports, Fantasia has won "her" man Antwaun Cook back from is his wife. Cook had gone back to his wife in March, but Fanny went all out and allegedly bought him a motorcycle to get him back. And more than this, Fanny's album Back to Me was reportedly pushed back to August 10th because she wants to add another song ... about loving and trusting. Word is, Fanny wrote the song for Antwaun but removed it from the album when they broke up. She wants to put it back on there now that they're back together.
Waka Flocka Got Got
Someone recently paid Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka $10,000 ... but he paid it in counterfeit bills. We don't know who paid him or what for, but Waka was told he got 10 grand in $100-bills. When he checked them under the light later, they were actually $5's! Daaaayyyyyuuuuummm!
CHART ACTION: Drake's On Top
As expected, Drake's long-awaited debut album, Thank Me Later, debuts at number one this week, according to Billboard. It sold 447,000 copies its first week out, becoming the third-best sales week of the year for a single album (following Sade and Lady Antebellum).

Well, I told you last week that Kat Stacks accused Fabolous of sending two goons to smack her around. Well, Fab has responded by saying, “It’s sad y’all believe anything y’all hear and see on the internet…especially from someone as credible as Kat Stacks.” He did say he knew who did do it…karma! Basketball Wives Star Arrested
Speaking of groupies…at the taping of the Basketball Wives reunion, one of the ladies got arrested! Suize Ketcham, who had a pervious run in with another groupie named Sandra, was hemmed up by the popo! When Sandra showed up, Suzie left, got a bucket and dumped water on Sandra’s head. Well, Sandra was trying to run away and slipped. Sandra had to be helped by paramedics. While Suzie had to be helped by police! Hmmm…
