BCBG Max Azria 2012 Spring Runway Show


BCBG kept with the trend of color blocking as last season. The clothes were light, colorful and cheerful. The color palette was the rainbow. The hemlines ranged from full length to accenting. The hair was loose and wavy and makeup natural.

Missoni Celebrate Going Into Target











































Missoni for Target had an event last night in New York for their upcoming launch and a number of Celebs came out to celebrate. Including designer Rachel Roy, model Selita and basketball player Amar'e. Some of them rocked the new line to the event and others should have looked in the mirror before leaving the house. The collection will hit stores this Sunday and I am sure it will be gone right away.

Rihanna was recently named the new spokeswoman for Armani Jeans and Underwear. Here is her new ad for the 2012 Fall Armani Jean campaign. I love the short crop haircut she is rocking and the ad modern feel on a classic film.

Kanye West Limited Edition Scarves Are Now Availble


































Kanye West have collaborated with graphic design and art direction team M/M Paris to create silk scarves inspired by his latest album "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" Only 100 units of each of the five designs were made and retail for $364. Each of the five scarves feature one of the album covers painted by George Condo in an intricate gold frame with hand drawn lettering by M/M. Estee Lauder Heiress Aerin Lauder has decided to start her own lifestyle brand, named Aerin. The granddaughter of the popular cosmetics brand, is launching her own brand that will include accessories, eyewear, home products and a beauty line that will hit Estee Lauder counters early 2012. Lauder will continue to remain as creative consultant and also as style and image director at Estee Lauder. Cant wait to see this new line. I am sure it will do as well as the iconic line she was born into.

There is new and upcoming clothing designer that is specializing in custom jeans for kids to adults. Jenius Label is not like any other denim line out here now. Solange And Son Help Japan Through Fashion




Solange and her caring fashion forward six year old son Julez are helping to rise money for Japan. They have started a clothing company aimed at helping the aid relief of Japan victims. The company is named Julez For Japan, which features t-shirts designed by the six year old. The design on the shirt comes from Juelz interpretation of the Japan flag. Peview MAC Quite Cute Collection



Mac will be launching a new collection on April 7 that is full of pastel shades for the lips, cheeks and nails. This new collection has a real Tokyo feel and influence to it. The collection will retail for $13 to $32. I can not wait until it comes out because I am in love with this colors. Hopefully MAC will send me a few products early to test and review.

Catherine Malandrino Sneak Peek Collection For Lacoste




French designer Catherine Malandrino has a debut collection with the iconic French tennis and sportswear brand that will hit stores in mid April. This will be her first out of four collections she will design for them. The 12 piece collection includes slouchy harem pants, wide leg trousers, pleated mini skirts, tie dyed polo's and an collard crochet grown that hits the ground. For the collaboration Malandrino did reinvented the classic icon logo. She made it two crocodiles one yellow and one green facing each other kissing. The collection will retail for $145 to $750 and will be sold at 43 Lactose stores and 11 Malandrino stores. Will you be wearing these Swank pieces off of the court?

Tom Ford Goes To London For Fashion Week


Tom Ford is back and hopefully for good. After a six year break from designing he returned and showed a small womenswear collection during Fashion Week in New York for Spring 2011. With superstar models that included Julianne Moore, Beyonce and Lauren Hutton. So we all have been waiting and watching to see what his next step was go to be, and he is set to go across the pond. A spokesman for Tom Ford has confirmed that the designer will be showing at London Fashion Week, according to the Telegraph. It looks like the collection will be as intimate as the one last season. Burberry normally brings all the celebrities to their show in London but now it looks like Ford will be giving them a run for their money with him decided to show his collection there as well. So who have their Passports ready cause it is time to go to London and stalk out the chance to get a glimpse. London Fashion Week runs February 18th to the 23rd this year.

Italian Vogue Does The "Black Issue" Again





































Italian Vogue has done it again just when you thought they never would. They have brought the black issue back and debuted the all black model issue name "Black Allure" recently. The spread has photos of models Ajak Deng, Arlenis Sosa Pena, Chanel Iman, Georgie Baddiel, Jourdan Dunn, Joan Smalls, Kinee Diouf, Lais Ribeiro, Melodie Monrose, Mia Aminata Niaria, Rose Cordero, and Sessilee Lopez which was shot by Franca Sozzani. This entire spread is just plain gorgeous. What do you guys think about it?

New York Is The New Home Of Gap's 1969 Denim Only Store




Gap wants to make a space in the high end denim market through its 1969 stores. With the newest one being in New York's lower Broadway. The store is between Spring and Broome streets, and houses array of styles of denim from the 1969's premium denim collection for men and women, complementary tops, jackets and shoes. They will also be carrying styles that will only be available in the 1969 stores, including European and Japanese styles. The store has a bright clean feel to it, denim lines the wall and the back of store has greenery to give it a more grounding touch. Seating in the center of the store is raw wood as well as a bar mounted with iPads which is loaded with different fashion sites to keep the non shopping companion busy. The Gap was founded on denim so I am glad to see it is getting back to it roots, but with more of a boutique feel.

In a statement the singer said "I created Heat Rush to bring the feeling of warmth and sensuality to every woman who wears it". Heat Rush has fruity notes, a floral bouquet, and hints of honey amber and musk. Heat Rush has a warmer seductive take then her first signature fragrance and will retail starting at $24 for 0.5oz. H&M Turn Lanvin Into A "Wasted" Collection


H&M has taken the leftover pieces from the Lanvin collection and has turned them into a mini collection called "Waste". It's a small collection of sportswear and accessories that will be available in select stores. In most pieces the several varieties of fabric have been used to create graphic, striped and harlequin patterns. The mini collection contains jackets, dresses and tote bags. So what do you guys think? Will you be going out to buy this collection as fast as you did the original Lanvin for H&M?

Celebrity Fashion Stylist Rachel Zoe has revealed her collection last week and it has a total 70's vibe which such not be a surprise to the many of us that follow her work but still remains new looking. Tailoring is the key to this collection which have great looking skirt suits with bubble hems, chic shift dresses, lean wide legged pants, tuxedo and coats. The line will also have shoes and bags.
