BCBG kept with the trend of color blocking as last season. The clothes were light, colorful and cheerful. The color palette was the rainbow. The hemlines ranged from full length to accenting. The hair was loose and wavy and makeup natural.

DIESEL 2012 SWIMWEAR COLLECTION

The denim brand Diesel kicked off the 2012 Miami Swim Fashion Week. Kristin Cavallari former Hills star walked the runway in a one shoulder cobalt blue suit accented with glass shards. The bikini was designed by Diesel but inspired by the show sponsor Skyy Vodka. Kristin suit was just one of four of the swimsuits that Diesel and Skyy worked on for their capsule collection.

Burberry Spring 2012 Menswear Collection

The men's spring 2012 Burberry collection is all about ease. There is crocheting, stitching, embroidery and handblock prints. This spring collection has an ethic feel to it with the geometric shapes around the neckline being suggestive of Native American dress. Block prints gave a textured to tops and sweaters. There were circular patterns on tee shirts to suggest ancient art. Burberry also showed love to Scotland with most of the outfits being topped with a hand crocheted raffia golfing hat topped with a pom pom. The models wore cork soled moccasins and loafers. The color palate was very earthy garnet, indigo and beet.

Catherine Malandrino Sneak Peek Collection For Lacoste

French designer Catherine Malandrino has a debut collection with the iconic French tennis and sportswear brand that will hit stores in mid April. This will be her first out of four collections she will design for them. The 12 piece collection includes slouchy harem pants, wide leg trousers, pleated mini skirts, tie dyed polo's and an collard crochet grown that hits the ground. For the collaboration Malandrino did reinvented the classic icon logo. She made it two crocodiles one yellow and one green facing each other kissing.
