Italian Vogue has done it again just when you thought they never would. They have brought the black issue back and debuted the all black model issue name "Black Allure" recently. Kerry Washington Gives Essence Cover Big Curls

Kerry Washington got fabulous on the November issue of Essence magazine with her big head of curls. Essence states that "the goal of this month's issue is to create a national dialogue on race that will inform, inspire, and empower African American women." Also in November Kerry will be starring in Terry Perry's upcoming film For Colored Girls Movie. I remember seeing this as a stage play when I was younger at the oldest black playhouse in Cleveland. I am excited to see such great black women tell a wonderful story, and for Essence to always show them in a great light.
