Rihanna was recently named the new spokeswoman for Armani Jeans and Underwear. Here is her new ad for the 2012 Fall Armani Jean campaign. I love the short crop haircut she is rocking and the ad modern feel on a classic film.
Rihanna and her friends were spotted shopping it up in Porto Cervo. She was looking fab in a laid back gold bandeau top and green army wide leg pants. The ladies was partying on a $300,000 yacht but felt the need to get off to stop into the Gucci and Prada stores.
The French fashion house Louis Vuitton Pre Fall handbag collection is based on the traveling woman from the 1920's and 1930's. Louis Vitton Monogram Blocks from the Pre fall 2011 collection combines muted tones with smooth goat leather and heavy grained leather embossed with the iconic Monogram pattern. The bags are all about color and texture blocking. You can purchase the handbags at the Louis Vitton stores and they retail starting at $3200. So if you are a LV lover you should run there now because you know they will not last long.
TOM and The Row have joined forces to collaborate on a limited collection of shoes. The line will consist of eight pairs of cashmere and Italian wool shoes that will retail for $98 to $150 each that will each have their own name such as Oliver, Kyle and so on. The shoes are still true to the company model of One for One, they just have a more luxury feel to them. Are you a TOM's fan? How do you feel about the new line?
H&M has done it again. They have scored another luxury brand to design an collection for the Swedish based company. H&M will launch a collection designed by Donatella Versace on November 19 which will be just in time for the holidays. The collection will include 40 pieces for women and 20 pieces for men. I can not wait to see some of the luxe materials and bright colored suits she has in store for us. Will you be camping out in the line with me again this year when it arrives?
Designers David Neville and Marcus Wainwright for Rag&Bone seemed to go back to Scotland for inspiration this season. There was a lot of mixing and matching with city and country, tailored and sportswear, masculine and feminine. Sleek silhouettes made the wintery outdoorsy outfits look far from bulky. The interesting color blocking, bold piping and trim and mixed media constructions made the looks more futuristic than retro. And the tall chunky brown boots that went down the runway were to die for.
