Well, yesterday it was Wayne’s World as he was finally released from Riker’s Island after serving 8 months. It was a pretty low-key release and his first public appearance is supposedly going to happen this weekend in Las Vegas with Drake and Sunday, Young Money is throwing a welcome home party in Miami. Bow Wow Gets Good Advice From Lil Wayne
Cash Money Books??
Now that Weezy is back home, maybe he’ll write a children’s book for Cash Money’s new venture, I mean he does have a lot of kids! Anyway, Cash Money is expanding, their new venture is called Cash Money Content and they plan on publishing 5 or 6 books per year. The first book will be “Raw Law: An Urban Guide To Criminal Justice,” which is due out in February.
Drake And J. Cole: The Revenge of The Light-Skinned Brothas
Speaking of CMB, Young Money isn’t far behind in the paper chase! Drake just announced his United Kingdom mini-tour and it’s the revenge of the light-skinned brothas! He and Fayettenam’s own J. Cole will hit the road on January 5th in Scotland and wrap it up in England on the 14th.
Nicki Minaj Clears Up Beef
Another YM member, Nicki Minaj, is clearing up the speculation surrounding her song “Roman’s Revenge” and whether it was a diss to Lil Kim. She says it wasn’t a diss, but in saying it, she kinda disses Kim even more. She said, “I don’t ever single anyone out because no one is worth being singled out!” Sounds like the claws are out to me! Good news for Ricky Rozay, a federal judge dismissed a $10 million trademark infringement lawsuit filed against him by the original “Freeway” Ricky Ross.

Kanye West can also celebrate because a judge ruled that Suge Knight’s lawsuit against Yeezy was fugazi! A federal judge in Miami has thrown out the lawsuit Suge filed against Ye’ related to Suge being shot at a club Yeezy was hosting back in ’05. Suge wanted a milli, but he’s getting a nilli!
Singer Mario Gets Good News
Mario has also got some good news. His mother, who accused him of assaulting her, has retracted her story. She admits that she was on drugs when she made it all up. Mario said, “I’m glad to be finally vindicated. I want to thank everyone who believed in me. I will continue to love and support my mother.”

As for new movies, “Due Date,” “Megamind,” and “For Colored Girls,” with an all-star cast including Thandie Newton, Whoopi Goldberg, Janet Jackson, and Loretta Devine are all in theaters today! Drake’s Body Guard Allegedly Goes Chuck Norris
Drake lost two fans in Jacksonville, Florida last week after he allegedly pushed a female fan and his body guard allegedly went all Chuck Norris on a male fan! The guy and his friends were allegedly heckling or praising Drake (depends on who tells the story), when he got knocked out! He ended up with 6 stitches in his mouth and is planning on pressing charges and of course he’s going to sue! Cha-ching!
Paul Wall Scuffles With A Fan

Paul Wall must have been drinking the same crunk juice as Drake’s bodyguard, because Sunday, during his performance at a car show, he allegedly got into it with a fan who gave him the middle finger! The two exchanged words and then Paul allegedly swung at the fan with his microphone several times. Must be something in the water!

Ludacris wants the kids to stay in school, but apparently not his own girlfriend! MediaTakeOut is reporting that Luda asked his girl friend to drop out of med school! Chris brown is upset that people bootlegged his new video “12 Strands: Matrix.” The mini-movie was available on his website for $2.99 but it got jacked and hit the internet for free! Chris Tweeted, “Ya’ll bootleggin’ this video already. Thats effed up. I give ya’ll free music all the time. Ya’ll could at least do me this solid.” He planned on donating some of the proceeds to his Symphonic Love Foundation which supports music education and promotes volunteerism.
Fantasia’s On The Road To Recovery

Wyclef Hospitalized

After the stress and strain of running for President of Haiti and working on a new album, Wyclef was hospitalized in New Jersey due to stress and fatigue. A source close to him said he’s been suffering from horrible headaches for weeks. He has been released from the hospital though and asked for his supporters to bear with him while he recovers!
Will Pressure Make TI Pop?
Speaking of stress, TI has apparently been under pressure from his record label, Atlantic Records, to make crossover, pop records. Pharrell told MTV, “"He's got songs out there right now that are singles, but, you know, there are pressures in the world, certain things you can't necessarily control. But his body of work ... he's got a crazy album. I saw, like, 60 records, and almost every record that he played me was really incredible. Then there was the more poppier side of things, where the label kinda puts the gun to your head 'cause they gotta pay their bills...Please trust, T.I.'s album is incredible, and he's an amazing talent, and it's been a while since we got together..."

Great news for Drake! Only one week into his Light Dreams & Nightmares tour, and it’s already 80% sold out! He’s already sold out New York's Radio City Music Hall (where he performs tonight and tomorrow), the Fox Theatre in Atlanta (Oct. 6) and the Chicago Theatre (Oct. 13-14).

You knew it was coming…Petey Pablo finally tells the story of why he was carrying a stolen Smith & Wesson handgun in his carry-on bag. He was arrested in the Raleigh-Durham airport and here’s what he said happened: Last month sometime he took the gun from a friend who was going to "do something crazy." He then hid the gun in his luggage, so the friend wouldn’t find it. Then he was asked to take a last minute flight, so he grabbed the bag without thinking and you know the rest of the story! He’s due in court on October 4th, so we’ll soon see if the judge buys that story! Do you?

After the video of Soulja Boy in the room with Kat Stacks and lines of cocaine broke, SB took to Twitter to deny it. He initially Tweeted, "God knows I didn't do that. that's all that matters, you are nothing but humans. pow". But later, he responded to a fan who asked him not to talk to Kat again, with this Tweet, “yes baby I promise to never do that again I'm so sorry, I'm a dummy dummy for that one.” Sounds like a confession to me!
Did Timbaland Attempt Suicide?
First Fantasia…now Timbaland? Well that’s what TMZ was reporting yesterday. Here’s the short version: Supposedly Timbo was upset about someone close to him stealing a $2 million dollar watch from him, so he left the house to clear his head. After he was gone for a while, his mother-in-law called 911 to report him missing and told police that he was “tired of the stress” and was near a cliff. Timbaland, though, says it’s not true.
Was Kimora Forced Out?
Speaking of leaving, I told you earlier this week that Kimora Simmons was leaving Baby Phat, and mama made it sound like she decided to leave on her own. Well that may not be the case! Rumor has it that she was forced out because she was paying herself and her daughters too much money for modeling in Baby Phat’s ads. And that she spent a ton of money on airbrushing and paying body doubles (who would really model the clothes, then Kimora’s face would be stuck on their body). Ouch, that’s gotta hurt her ego!

Kimora’s not the only one hurting right now. Ne-Yo’s pockets just got hit for $150,000. He had been sued for $1.5 million by a promoter for breach of contract and the judge ruled in the promoter’s favor!
Montana Fishburne Pleads Not Guilty
Montana Fishburne aka Bumpy (Ass) Johnson, is hoping that a judge rules in her favor, after pleading not guilty to assault with a deadly weapon and false imprisonment. Her and her pimp, um excuse me, I mean boyfriend, were arrested in February, after allegedly breaking into a woman’s house, locking her in the bathroom and beating her! Sounds like lil Montana has been watching to many of her daddy’s movies!

Earlier this week I told you about the possibility of Wyclef running for president of Haiti. Well the New York post is claiming that it is official! His reps say he has submitted paperwork and other sources say he'll make his official announcement within the next 2 weeks!
Dame Dash Auction
Poor, poor Dame Dash! His New York City loft is on the auction block. He bought it in "04" for $3.875 million and eventually became unable to make the....get this 78 thousand a month mortgage payments. He tried to sell it for $7.9 million but that was an epic fail; so it was foreclosed and went to auction yesterday! Damn.
Chris Tucker Starring in Money Talks 2
Speaking of money issues! Chris Tucker will be starring in Money Talks 2 and get this...his co-star this time will be the I, the R, and the S. Yep, money talks and the IRS wants some good conversation from Chris! He supposedly owes $11 million in back taxes. He also owes about $3.5 million to the state of California!

Well, J. Cole, who has had some controversy with his video for "who dat" has finally responded to Fayetteville State University's chancellor calling out the FSU cheerleaders who were in the video. J Cole said, "That's something that happens all the time in the black community. It's like a generational gap. They can't see past. They can't see the good...they can't see past the curse words". Side note: He'll be here for SummerFest 2010, August 7th! Get your tickets.
