Well, yesterday it was Wayne’s World as he was finally released from Riker’s Island after serving 8 months. It was a pretty low-key release and his first public appearance is supposedly going to happen this weekend in Las Vegas with Drake and Sunday, Young Money is throwing a welcome home party in Miami. Bow Wow Gets Good Advice From Lil Wayne


Cash Money Books??
Now that Weezy is back home, maybe he’ll write a children’s book for Cash Money’s new venture, I mean he does have a lot of kids! Anyway, Cash Money is expanding, their new venture is called Cash Money Content and they plan on publishing 5 or 6 books per year. The first book will be “Raw Law: An Urban Guide To Criminal Justice,” which is due out in February.

Drake And J. Cole: The Revenge of The Light-Skinned Brothas
Speaking of CMB, Young Money isn’t far behind in the paper chase! Drake just announced his United Kingdom mini-tour and it’s the revenge of the light-skinned brothas! He and Fayettenam’s own J. Cole will hit the road on January 5th in Scotland and wrap it up in England on the 14th.

Nicki Minaj Clears Up Beef
Another YM member, Nicki Minaj, is clearing up the speculation surrounding her song “Roman’s Revenge” and whether it was a diss to Lil Kim. She says it wasn’t a diss, but in saying it, she kinda disses Kim even more. She said, “I don’t ever single anyone out because no one is worth being singled out!” Sounds like the claws are out to me! Good news for Ricky Rozay, a federal judge dismissed a $10 million trademark infringement lawsuit filed against him by the original “Freeway” Ricky Ross.

Suge Knight Will Get A Nilli From Yeezy
Kanye West can also celebrate because a judge ruled that Suge Knight’s lawsuit against Yeezy was fugazi! A federal judge in Miami has thrown out the lawsuit Suge filed against Ye’ related to Suge being shot at a club Yeezy was hosting back in ’05. Suge wanted a milli, but he’s getting a nilli!

Singer Mario Gets Good News
Mario has also got some good news. His mother, who accused him of assaulting her, has retracted her story. She admits that she was on drugs when she made it all up. Mario said, “I’m glad to be finally vindicated. I want to thank everyone who believed in me. I will continue to love and support my mother.”

Movie Action
As for new movies, “Due Date,” “Megamind,” and “For Colored Girls,” with an all-star cast including Thandie Newton, Whoopi Goldberg, Janet Jackson, and Loretta Devine are all in theaters today! Looks like Marlon Wayans is the latest celebrity to be hacked online! Someone hacked into his social networking accounts and stole his personal information.

Lil Wayne Is Suing Former Booking Agent
Speaking of stealing, Lil Wayne is suing a former booking agent, who he says stole $370,000 from him. He claims they diverted the money from a show booked on his behalf.

Drake Is A Party Planner
Drake took to Ustream to announce the November 5th Welcome Home Weezy Concert, since Lil Wayne is supposed to be released on or around November 4th, 4 months early. Drake also announced that his R&B mixtape will be titled, “It’s Never Enough.”

DJ Khaled Has A New Home
Speaking of Cash Money, they have been gobbling up talent left and right! DJ Khaled announced that he is now signed to Cash Money Records. On Friday, he Tweeted, “Deal is done.”

Mariah’s Special Package
Cash Money aren’t the only ones with a new addition! MediaTakeOut.com posted a picture over the weekend of Mariah Carey and either she’s been eating for a small football team or she’s preggers! You can CLEARLY see a baby bump in the pic!

Speaking of bumps, Montana Fishburne, aka Bumpy Booty, is already turning into a DIVA! She sent a cease & desist letter to Brian Pumper to stop sales of his video, Phattys, Rhymes & Dimes 14, which she is in. Guess she’s got some standards…



Wyclef Is Still Fighting
On Friday, Haitian officials said Wyclef didn’t meet their standards for becoming president of the country. But yesterday, he Tweeted, “Tomorrow our lawyers are appealing the decision. We have met all the requirements set by laws and the laws must be respected.”

Faith Evans Arrested
Speaking of respecting laws, guess Faith Evans is above that! She was allegedly arrested on Saturday night in Los Angeles on suspicion of DUI. She was released Sunday, but her car was impounded.

Keri Hilson’s House Caught Fire
Keri Hilson is lucky to be alive!! Over the weekend she Tweeted that her house caught fire due to an electrical malfunction! She said she pulled up and saw 3 fire trucks. She said she was going to end her night out early, but decided against it! Good thing she did, because who knows what could have happened if she was home!

Box Office
As for this weekend’s box office receipts, The Expendables came in 1st with $16.5 million, #2 was Vampires Suck with 12.2 million and Eat. Pray. Love has the 3rd spot with $12 million. Bow Wow’s Lottery Ticket was a close 4th with $11.1 million!

Ne-Yo Wants To Design Hats
Well we all know that Ne-Yo loves wearing hats, mainly because he’s got a MEAN receding hairline. Now he wants to make some money off the rest of the baldin’ brothas in the world. He told MTV that he wants to design his own line of hats!

Today Is Decision Day For Wyclef
Speaking of receding hairlines, Wyclef should be hearing a decision today in whether he is eligible to run for President of Haiti. He said he’ll respect the decision either way, but if he’s not approved, he’ll continue to do for Haiti.

Lauryn Hill Hits The Charts
Another Fugees alumni is also making headlines. Miss Lauryn hill is back in a big way! Her new single, “Reppercusions,” is her first song to hit the Billboard 100 chart in more than 10 years! Congrats L-Boogie!

Shyne Wants Cash Money!
Speaking of comebacks, Shyne is trying to work his out since being released from prison. He’s talking about hooking up with Cash Money for one of his upcoming albums. Here’s a clip of him talking about it…

Mashonda Confirms Swizz Is The Daddy
Speaking of Weezy, Swizzy aka Swizz Beats is on his heels when it comes to making babies with different women! Mashonda, his ex-wife, confirmed that he does have a love child with a Russian singer. During an interview, Mashonda said, “I hope all the children involved will grow together in unity.” Awww, that’s so special! But let’s do the math real quick…Swizz had a son before he married Mashonda, then he had a son with Mashonda, he has a daughter with the Russian chick and the one Alicia Key’s is carrying makes four babies with four different women! Sounds like a great catch Alicia! Way to go!

Speaking of another great catch, Fantasia’s alleged boyfriend, Antwaun Cook, has released a statement through his lawyer. It says, “He knew Fantasia Barrino but the failure of his marriage is no way blamed on anyone except the two people that were a part of the union.” Fantasia, meanwhile, says that Cook told her he was separated. Women lie…men lie…

Well Idris Elba is a liar! He told Upscale Magazine and I quote, “Black men have never been sexy.” Hmmmm, I gotta disagree with that, especially when it’s coming from a sexy Black man!
