Trey Songz Gets No Love
Well he may be cute and people seem to love his music, but apparently ya’ll don’t like watching him on television. Trey Songz’s reality show, My Moment, is getting such bad ratings that it may not make it to next season! Last week he had less than a half million viewers!

Ladies First
Hopefully another BET show will do better than Trey! BET has announced its first ever original music documentary. My Mic Sounds Nice: A Truth About Women and Hip Hop will show the impact that women like Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, Missy, Eve and Trina have had on music. You can check that out on BET on August 30th at 10pm!

Nelly Overcomes The Hate
Speaking of shows, it seemed like Branson, Missouri was hating on Nelly by trying to stop his show in the city, which was supposed to happen in the parking lot of the Grand Palace. The city was trying to deny the permits needed to make the outdoor show a reality, but show organizers have moved it indoors to the mansion theater, avoiding a showdown in court.

Lebron James’ Girlfriend Splits…Her time that is!
Savannah Brinson told Harper’s bazaar that she splits her time between Cleveland and Miami because they didn’t want to uproot their children. She also said, “personally, Miami was not my favorite place.”

It’s Official, Halle Berry Is A MILF
Congrats are in order to Ms. Berry…she is officially the hottest MILF. She’s got the #1 spot on AskMen.com’s top 10 list of celebrity MILFs.

Will.I.Am Has A New Day Job

Kanye West Pushes Back
All you Kanye fans that were anticipating his new album will have to wait a lil bit longer! He nixed the September 14th release date he originally had and said on Ustream that his album will now be released sometime in November. But he did say his 2nd single is coming in about 20 days!

Hip Hop Beef Heats Up
There may be a battle brewing between Rick Ross and young Jeezy. Jeezy just released a track called “Death Before Dishonor,” and it seems like he’s taking some subliminal shots at Da Bawse! He says, “How you blowin money fast / You don’t know the crew/ oh you part of the fam? / Sh*t…I never knew.” And Torch, from Rick Ross’ group triple C’s went on twitter and started a trending topic called “#JeezyWhyUMad.” Wow…this is gonna get ugly!!

Rihanna Cancels Seattle Show
Amidst rumors that she trashed one of her hotel rooms, Rihanna has canceled an upcoming show in Seattle. The singer has already canceled shows in Texas and Arizona, and called off this Friday's show at the White River Amphitheatre. Show promoter Live Nation released a statement saying the decision was made because of "production changes" but many speculate the cut was made because of poor ticket sales.

Jay-Z, Beyonce and Rihanna Boycott BET & Chris Brown?
Jay-Z, Beyonce and Rihanna reportedly upset about Chris Brown being included in the performances for the BET Awards. An insider says told MediaTakeout.com, "It was a matter of principal. If BET was willing to support Chris after what he did [to Rihanna], that was their business. But [they] were not going to have anything to do with the show."

BET Awards Show Tops Ratings Again
The 2010 BET Awards was the Number 1 Cable Awards Show for the fifth year in a row. The 10th anniversary of the show pulled in 7.4 million viewers in 4.5 million households.

Will Lauryn Hill Make a Comeback?
Lauryn Hill could finally be ready to make her comeback. She tells National Public Radio, "I think it's time." But she also said it’s been a long road, "The support system that I needed was not necessarily in place... Oftentimes, the machine can overlook the need to take care of the people who produce the sounds that have a lot to do with the health and well-being of society, or at least some aspect of society. And it's important that people be given the time that they need to go through, to grow."

Eminem’s Entourage Conflict
Entourage has signed on Eminem for its Season 7 finale. Airing on September 12th, Eminem's scene will take place at a platinum record party for his Recovery album. He and character Vince are going to have a conflict on the episode!

DMX to be Released Early?
DMX, who is currently in The Pokey in Arizona for probation violation, could be released as early as July. X is scheduled to be released in September.

Swizz Owes Over 2 Million in Taxes
According to documents that leaked yesterday (probably by his ex-wife Mashonda), Swizz Beatz owes over $2.2 million in taxes to the state of New York and the IRS.

Here’s what Swizzy owes The Man:

$652,727 to the IRS, which filed a lien against Swizzy on June 3 for income taxes from 2008;
$162,300 to the state of New York, which filed a tax warrant against Swizz and his ex-wife, Mashonda, in February of 2009;
Another $556,986 to the IRS from a lien filed against him and Mashonda in August of 2008 for 2007 income taxes;
And yet another $842,645 to the IRS from a lien filed against Swizzy and Mashonda in March of 2008 - this time in New Jersey (the other two were in New York).

Jay-Z, Rihanna & BeyBey Boycott BET Awards

MediaTakeOut.com just got an INTERESTING piece of information - Jay Z, Rihanna and Beyonce were all INVITED to perform at the BET Awards. And according to our snitch they all said NO when they learned that Chris Brown would be performing.

The insider told MediaTakeOut.com,"Rihanna and Jay have tours coming up that they are having trouble selling - of course they needed the exposure." But the insider continued, "It was a matter of principal, if BET was willing to support Chris after what he did - that was THEIR BUSINESS. But [Rihanna Jay and Bey] were not going to have ANYTHING to do with the show."

And not having any of the BIG THREE on the show was a problem. According to Nielsen, this years BET Awards drew 15% fewer viewers than last years.

Snoop Banned Again
Snoopy Dogg, just got to go back to the UK after nearly 4 years of being banned, and now this: Snoop-a-loop has now been shut out of the Netherlands. He was supposed to perform at the ParkPop festival next weekend, but the mayor and police are protesting his appearance. Awww, no love for Snoop!

T-Pain Just Wants To Be Loved!
Speaking of love, T-Pain just wants to be loved! He's refusing to put out music until consumers demand it more! "I got the mastered verison of my album in my car right now. But, I'm not bringing my album out until these artists start selling records again...I'm not bringing out no album, not dropping no more singles until people start selling records again. I mean that's hometown, The Tallahassee Hero, but chumon Pain, really?

Jay-Z is Holding Back!
Well, T-Pain and Jay-Z might be on the same page! Hov says he's not going to release his autobiography; even though, he finished it 4years ago. He told Rolling Stone magazine that its too personal. He said, "It's too much for the book, I was interviewed, people close to me were interviewed, so I was learning a lot of things I didn't know as a child.

Drake Taking Subliminal Shots
Drake is still talking about Lil' Kim! This time it was an undercover insult. He said,"If you start talking about the people I love then I do get a little bit more reactive and that's all that happened here." He went on to say, "Nicki's got records climbing the charts and today Thank Me Later is in stores, so it's just about relevant people today." Take that, take that.

50 Cent To Get In The Ring
Well, 50 Cent is taking it to the ring! He's teamed up with Floyd Mayweather for an album project! He says it will be a compilation album.

Is Bow-Wow Crossing Over?
Bossip.com is claiming to have exclusive evidence that Bow Wow is gay. Their source claimed to have hacked Bow Wow's email and found an alleged freestyle that sounds like Bow Wow saying, "You know I'm gay." But it does sound like audio had been edited. Sounds interesting....

Maxwell Cancels Tour Dates
Well, I'm interested to know the real reason Maxwell postponed some of his summer tour dates til 2011 like the show here in Charlotte and the show in Greensboro on the 28th!

Bad News For Boosie Bad Azz?
Bad news for Boosie! He was indicted on a first-degree and 2 other men were indicted in the October 21st shooting death of Terry Boyd. He's in prison right now on parole violation.

Well, even though Boosie won't be able to make it this year; the BET Awards line up keeps getting better! Eminem, Alicia, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross and Dirty Money are all confirmed! And you know I'll be out there in LA bringing you the lowdown and all the dirty dirty live!

Is Britney Spears a Sexual Predator?
Britney Spears is being accused of sexually harassing a former bodyguard. Fernando Flores reportedly told friends that Britney was so bad that he felt the need to quit. He said she used to walk around the house buckie nekked! Wow, I new Brit Brit was special, but that’s just crazy!

Rihanna’s Got A Man
RiRi confirmed to Elle Magazine that she does indeed have a boyfriend. She said, "I feel really comfortable, and it’s so easy. I have such a chaotic life, but at the end of the day, that is just my peace. It keeps me sane, really, talking to him and talking to my family." She also spoke about the situation with Chris Brown last year. She said, “All of a sudden, one night changed our whole lives—not only our friendship, but our lives. I wanted to wake up one day and just not have that pain anymore.” You can read the full interview in this month’s Elle Magazine.

Common Confirms He's Single
Common has finally confirmed that he's split with Serena Williams. He said "I am single. I am a single man, definitely." I doubt he will be for long though! Common seems like a good catch!

Kanye West Will Perform At The BET Awards
Apparently his awards show ban has been lifted! Kanye West will perform at this year's BET Awards on June 27th. I will be there as well, reporting all the dirty dirty to you live from L.A!

Black Eyed Peas Set for World Cup Concert
The Black Eyed Peas and John Legend will both be performing at the FIFA World Cup Kick-Off Celebration Concert. Airing live around the world tonight at 8pm local time in South Africa! It’s the first concert of it’s kind, so it’s a good look!

Timbaland Goes Organic
Timbaland says that he decided to change the feel of his music because he says everyone is imitating him. "I feel like everybody's now doing what I did on 'The Way I Are'. I started it and they followed, so I felt I had to come up with a new style, and I think I've got it. I call it organic.” His first single is "Getaway" with Michelle Branch, which will be used to promote the new Mini Cooper Countryman car.

Ja Rule May Be Taking A Vacation
A court-sanctioned vacation that it! A judge has set a trial date for Ja Rule's felony gun case. He pleaded not guilty to criminal weapons possession after police say they found a loaded semi-automatic gun in his car in July of 2007. His court date is scheduled for August 18th.

More Drama Surrounding The Death Of Gary Coleman
Dion Mial, who was named executor of Gary's estate, says that Gary's ex-wife Shannon Price removed several items from his house after the Gary’s death, including computers, telephones, musical instruments, model train sets and a 2005 Dodge pick-up. Mial says that if Shannon doesn’t return the items, he’ll be taking her butt to court!
