Did Jermaine Dupri Threaten A Blogger?
Jermaine Dupri allegedly told blogger Sandra Rose that he was going to have her killed! She’s claiming that he threatened her after she posted and article titled “How The Mighty Have Fallen: Jermaine Dupri Rebounds.” Supposedly JD is telling people he was drunk during the call!

When It Comes To His Kids…It's not a GAME!
Well alcohol and rappers don’t mix! The Game proved that at one of his recent shows. Someone threw beer on stage and unfortunately (for the guy) The Game’s kids were there and he didn’t take to kindly to it! Two people from Game’s entourage jumped off stage and had a stern conversation with the guy...and by stern, I mean an ass whooping!

Does Mario Have Anger Management Issues?
Speaking of getting it in, Mario might need to make his way to some anger management classes! He allegedly punched the sound engineer at the annual Rochester MusicFest. Word is he missed sound check and showed up to perform late, so when he went over his allotted time, the sound man cut his show. And that’s when Mario went all ROCKY BALBOA on him!

DMX Goes Back Home
Maybe I need to make my prison reservation, cus DMX spends so much time behind bars he’s beginning to make me think it’s a nice place to! Anywho, he’s going back to jail. This time he’s surrendering to L.A. authorities in connection to a 2002 reckless driving conviction.

C-Murder to Get Special Attention
In other jail bird news, C-Murder is getting some special attention. He’s serving a mandatory life sentence for the 2002 murder of a 16 year old, but now a special panel in new Orleans is examining his case to see if there was any judicial misconduct.

Diddy THINKS He Runs the City…but Not So Much!
Even though Diddy thinks he runs New York City, NYC says otherwise! They claim he owes almost $1 million for illegally putting up posters a few years back. They also want Doug E. Fresh to ante up on the almost $200,000 they claim he owes in business taxes.

President Wyclef?
We could be calling Wyclef president in the future! It’s only speculation for now, but there is a possibility that Wyclef could run for president of Haiti. He’s not confirming or denying it, but his rep did say, “If and when a decision is made, media will be alerted immediately.’

No Playboy Bunnies For Drake
Drizzy is being sued by Playboy for copyright infringement. Playboy Enterprises claims Drake's "Best I Ever Had" contains a sample of the song "Falling in Love" by Hamilton, Joe Frank and Dennison/Reynolds, which is the property of Hugh Hefner's Playboy Music Inc. and Playboy Enterprises. Hefner wants to stop sales and distribution of the record and doesn't want Drake to make any more money from it. Guess he won’t be invited to a party at the Playboy Mansion anytime soon!

Lil Wayne Is A Proud Papa
Lil Wayne sent a "shout out" to his Young Money family at Sunday night's BET Awards via his website WeezyThanxYou.com. Both Drake and Nicki Minaj thanked Wayne during their acceptances speeches. Weezy also wished fans a good summer and thanked them for the cards and letters he's getting each day, saying, "They mean the world to me."

Nicki Minaj Sounds Suspect
Nicki Minaj says she’s no bi-sexual! She spoke to Vibe Magazine and said "I don’t date women and I don’t have sex with women." Which seems really suspect, seeing as though 1) her name has “ménage” in it 2) she said she wanted to steal Cassie from Diddy and 3) she had former lesbian Amber Rose riding shotgun with her in the “Massive Attack” video! Ok Nicki, whatever you say!

Move Over Mathew Knowles
Word is Beyonce is still so upset about her father's affair and love child with 38-year-old Alexsandra Wright that it might cause problems for Mathew at Columbia Records! Supposedly things have gotten so cold between them, that people at the label reportedly think it would be best if Mathew stepped aside! Reps for Beyonce, however, are saying it ain’t true!

Fergie Wants Freedom
Word on the streets is that Fergie is leaving the Black Eyed Peas. Even though the group is on tour and they have another leg planned in early 2011, Fergie hasn't signed on for the latter part. "Things have gotten really bad with will.i.am ... His ego is out of control," said an insider. "Fergie just wants to get away from the whole thing."

Method Man Makes Good With The Man
Method Man appeared in a New York courtroom yesterday, where he pled guilty to tax evasion and immediately wrote a check for $40,000 of the $100,000 he owes. Meth’s attorney, Peter Frankel, told reporters, "When he found out about the tax issue he hired someone and immediately corrected it. He took care of it quickly like the good member of our community he is. He's not your typical rapper. He's not a troublemaker." Ok, that’s nice and all, but WTF at his lawyers comment… “He's not your typical rapper. He's not a troublemaker.” Shots fired at the rap community!

Lil Boosie Puts In Official Plea
Yesterday Lil Boosie entered a plea of not guilty to murder charges. He’s facing first degree murder charges in the death of 35-year-old Terry Boyd in October 2009. Boosie's attorney, said, "I think he meant what he said. He's absolutely not guilty. We're just going to prepare for his defense and get ready to address the charges."

Kelis Takes A Shot At Nas
Kelis spoke to a British paper about her ex-husband Nas. She was asked about her biggest disappointment and she replied, "My ex-husband." Ouch, that’s gotta hurt!

Kanye Is Being Sued
Kanye West is being sued over his song "Stronger." In a suit filed Friday in Illinois, songwriter-producer Vincent "Vince P." Peters says that he wrote the track in 2006 and played it for John Monopoly, a manager-business associate of West, at his Chicago home in 2006.

Lil Wayne Pleads Guilty
Lil Wayne appeared in Yuma County Superior Court last week via video to plead guilty to one count of possession of a dangerous drug. He reached a plea deal with prosecutors in the January 2008 case in which his tour bus was stopped near a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint outside of Yuma, Arizona and he was found with drugs. Lil Wayne, who's already serving a year on a weapons charge, is expected to get up to 36 months of probation.

Alicia Keys & Swizz Beats Are Blessed
During their visit to South Africa to perform at the World Cup opening ceremonies, Alicia Keys & Swizz Beats had their union blessed in a traditional Zulu ceremony. Alicia also had the couple's unborn baby blessed during the ceremony.



Fat Joe is Questioned in Sexual Assault
Fat Joe was detained by police in Madison, Wisconsin after a 33-year-old woman told them that Joe and his entourage sexually assaulted her inside a limo. According to police, the unidentified woman claims she found herself inside of a Cadillac limousine Joe and other male subjects following his concert at the Orpheum Theater. He was not arrested and was released by the morning. But police say the investigation is ongoing.

Kat Stacks Attacked
MediaTakeOut.com learned that Kat Stacks was attacked last night outside of a Washington, DC club. According to MediaTakeOut.com's snitch, a girl from the DMV ran up on Kat and whopped her like she stole something. Then she walked away like nothing happened. Kat is reportedly unhurt.

Game is Not Dead
For those of you who believed rumors that Game died in a shooting in L.A. on Sunday night don’t worry! He is still alive and well. He Tweeted, "Who ever started da rumor dat I was dead is funny as hell…If u gone spread rumors, b more creative. Say, I had a fight wit the Toy Story cast or sumn & it turned fatal ha ha." He followed that up with, "As a matter of fact, I am dead. I'm the 1st n*gga to #graveTweet !!! 1st 400 bars, now tweetin from the grave...I'm dope."

Lil' Boosie Denies Murder Charges
Lil' Boosie, who is already serving four years for drug and gun possession, is now facing murder charges in the 2009 death of a man named Terry Boyd, who was shot through the window of his house. Boosie was indicted late last week in an alleged murder-for-hire plot. He may face the death penalty if found guilty. Boosie was also indicted for conspiring with his girlfriend, another inmate and a former correctional officer, of smuggling synthetic marijuana, marijuana pills and codeine into the prison. On top of this, police are investigating the February, 2009 death of fellow Louisiana rapper Chris "Nussie" Jackson, along with five other similar deaths which Boosie may have been involved in. Boosie denied the charge saying, "I’m innocent. I’m completely innocent.”

Jay-Z Performs Secret Show
Despite word that the mayor cancelled Jay-Z's "secret" show yesterday on the The Late Show with David Letterman marquee, the show went on anyway. Jay performed along with Eminem on the rooftop of the Ed Sullivan Theater, where The Late Show is filmed. The show had been cancelled in the first place because Jay couldn't get a permit after word of the show leaked, but a rooftop performance doesn't need a permit.

Jay-Z Settles with David Ortiz
Jay-Z has settled his lawsuit against Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz. Hov sued Ortiz for copyright infringement after the slugger opened up his Forty/Forty club in the Dominican Republic - ripping off Jay's 40/40 clubs in the States. Jay and his partner were looking for $5 million but Ortiz has agreed to change the name of his club and take down his fortyforty.net website.

Katherine to Face Off with Jackson's Estate?
Katherine Jackson has partnered up with online nude gambling promoter, Howard Mann, to sell 273 unreleased Michael Jackson tracks. Mann came into possession of the music when bought a storage locker owned by the Jackson family after they didn't pay the storage bill. MJ’s Estate lawyer, however, said, "Mr. Mann can listen to the tracks in his living room or play them at cocktail parties, but he has absolutely no right to the intellectual property and has no claim to the music."

Snoop Banned Again
Snoopy Dogg, just got to go back to the UK after nearly 4 years of being banned, and now this: Snoop-a-loop has now been shut out of the Netherlands. He was supposed to perform at the ParkPop festival next weekend, but the mayor and police are protesting his appearance. Awww, no love for Snoop!

T-Pain Just Wants To Be Loved!
Speaking of love, T-Pain just wants to be loved! He's refusing to put out music until consumers demand it more! "I got the mastered verison of my album in my car right now. But, I'm not bringing my album out until these artists start selling records again...I'm not bringing out no album, not dropping no more singles until people start selling records again. I mean that's hometown, The Tallahassee Hero, but chumon Pain, really?

Jay-Z is Holding Back!
Well, T-Pain and Jay-Z might be on the same page! Hov says he's not going to release his autobiography; even though, he finished it 4years ago. He told Rolling Stone magazine that its too personal. He said, "It's too much for the book, I was interviewed, people close to me were interviewed, so I was learning a lot of things I didn't know as a child.

Drake Taking Subliminal Shots
Drake is still talking about Lil' Kim! This time it was an undercover insult. He said,"If you start talking about the people I love then I do get a little bit more reactive and that's all that happened here." He went on to say, "Nicki's got records climbing the charts and today Thank Me Later is in stores, so it's just about relevant people today." Take that, take that.

50 Cent To Get In The Ring
Well, 50 Cent is taking it to the ring! He's teamed up with Floyd Mayweather for an album project! He says it will be a compilation album.

Is Bow-Wow Crossing Over?
Bossip.com is claiming to have exclusive evidence that Bow Wow is gay. Their source claimed to have hacked Bow Wow's email and found an alleged freestyle that sounds like Bow Wow saying, "You know I'm gay." But it does sound like audio had been edited. Sounds interesting....

Maxwell Cancels Tour Dates
Well, I'm interested to know the real reason Maxwell postponed some of his summer tour dates til 2011 like the show here in Charlotte and the show in Greensboro on the 28th!

Bad News For Boosie Bad Azz?
Bad news for Boosie! He was indicted on a first-degree and 2 other men were indicted in the October 21st shooting death of Terry Boyd. He's in prison right now on parole violation.

BET Awards Will Be All The Way Live
Well, even though Boosie won't be able to make it this year; the BET Awards line up keeps getting better! Eminem, Alicia, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross and Dirty Money are all confirmed! And you know I'll be out there in LA bringing you the lowdown and all the dirty dirty live!

Fabolous: Murder Was The Case That They Gave Me
So the po-po are looking into Fabolous as a possible suspect in the murder of an up-and-coming rapper. A surveillance video shows Fab leaving Club Amazura in Queens just seconds before an unidentified gunman shot Greg "G-Baby" Brown in the back. Fab and Brown reportedly had a long-standing beef. And this is the second time in as many weeks that Fab has been allegedly linked to violence. Professional groupie Kat Stacks, accused him of sending two goons to smack her up! Wow, let me find out Fab is an undercover thug!

Fat Joe Owes The Man
Fat Joe owes more than $139,000 in delinquent state and federal taxes and Joe owes over $71,000 to a bank. Meanwhile, Fat Joe is putting out his 10th studio album, The Darkside, on July 13th. Ha, ha, slow down son, you owing em!

Nicki Minaj Sued Over Pink Lambo
Nicki Minaj is being sued by Hollywood Exotic Car Rental for that pink Lamborghini she was driving in "Massive Attack" video. The rental place claims that Minaj took the car "off-road,” resulting in almost $12,000 damage. They also claim that she never paid the three-day rental fee, a total of $5,250! Dayum Nicki!

8 Cents And Counting: Diddy’s Adds His 2 Cents
Diddy has finally weighed in on the Lil' Kim-Nicki Minaj beef. He said, "I love Lil' Kim and I'm sorry that she's mad. I never thought that by me working with another artist that she would take it the wrong way... Nicki never did anything to her." He also said Kim’s anger could be caused by her being unsure about her comeback. "MCs, when they coming back out, a lot of times they like to talk crazy and do what they do... At the end of the day, everyone respects Kim for being the Queen Bee... But I ain't gonna make no apologies for working with Nicki Minaj."

And in other Diddy news, Dirty Money's Last Train to Paris CD has been pushed back again, a year from the original release, now it’s scheduled for September 20th.

Is Ri Ri’s Tour a Flop
Rihanna's camp has announced her July 22nd date in Tucson, Arizona has been canceled in protest of controversial immigration law. But word is the real reason is poor ticket sales. A source said, "She couldn't sell more than a third of the tickets. The entire tour is starting to look like it will lose money."

Trey Songz & Monica To Tour This Summer
Trey Songz is hitting the road this summer. Monica will be the opening act. The tour kicks off August 6th in Shreveport, Louisiana. The closest they’ll get to the Queen City is Atlanta on August 13 and Greensboro on September 3.

Mary J’s Fashion Designing Debut
Mary J. Blige and fashion designer Catherine Malandrino will co-present a fashion show to benefit Mary's non-profit organization, FFAWN (Foundation for the Achievement of Women Now), tonight New York's Museum of Modern Art. The $1000 ticket price will help cover college tuition for 30 graduates of the Women's Academy of Excellence in the Bronx.

Michael Jackson Video Game Coming
A Michael Jackson video game is set to be released before Christmas. The as-yet-untitled game will be among the first to use new motion-detecting camera systems, which will you to moonwalk alongside the King of Pop. In the game, players are challenged to imitate MJ’s moves. There will also be a karaoke feature, allowing players to sing Michael's songs. So now, if you ever wanted to play with Michael Jackson, you can! Lol…
