Parents, loved ones and caregivers of incarcerated youth feel as though they are a forgotten population of individuals. Grandmaz Hands non-profit organization will host Celebrity Bowling with the Stars on Saturday, June 19th 2010 from 6pm at AMF Carolina Lanes 11210 Brigman Rd, Matthews, NC 28105. Proceeds from this event will benefit the organization's efforts for the affected individuals it services daily.
Celebrities and local heroes take time out for a great cause!!!
The Celebrity bowling is open to seasoned and amateur bowlers alike. Some of the featured bowlers are NFL Players Michael Booker, Jr. Tory Woodbury, Bryant Westbrook, QCB of WFNZ Radio, Boxer Aaron Pryor Jr, and many more to be announced. The team entry fee is $300 for a team of 5 that includes buffet, three rounds of bowling and shoes. General admission is $7 for spectators. "With this organization, we are restoring families by starting with the foundation. Our services will help decrease the crime rate in Charlotte by empowering the families to reach their full potential," states program director Ivan Jones. The funds collected at this event will help us to continue to provide services and resources to our clients and families involved with the program and create more opportunities for the future families that are in need as well.
