Bad News For The Queen Of Soul
Aretha Franklin can’t seem to catch a break lately! First her son was attacked in Detroit and now her body’s under attack. A family member confirmed that she was diagnosed with cancer, although there’s no word as to what type of cancer it is.

Bow Wow Talks About His Suicide Rant
Speaking of life and death, Bow Wow explained his suicidal Twitter rant last month. He says he didn’t want to commit suicide, but he just wants to live a normal life. Here he is:



The Bahamas Can’t Ban The Snow Man
Well life wasn’t so rosy for Young Jeezy either. He was arrested in the Bahamas last weekend. Word is he was arrested, booked and quickly released. No details on why….but they must not know, you can’t ban the snowman!

Bun B is Helping Needy Families
Speaking of snow and the holiday season, Bun B is doing his part to make sure needy families have enough to eat! For the second Christmas, Bun is linking up with Boost Mobile to host a holiday food drive in Houston.

Mariah Carey Is Doing An Extreme Makeover
Mariah Carey will also be delivering some holiday cheer! She’ll be on this weekend’s episode of “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” in Pensacola, Florida. Mariah’s episode airs this Sunday, December 12th at 8pm on ABC.

As for the charts this week, Kanye fell from #1 to #7, but sold 108,000 copies. Nicki Minaj’s “Pink Friday” is right behind Ye, selling an additional 103,000 copies. Rihanna’s “Loud” is #10. Eric Benet’s “Lost in Time” debuted at #30 and Ne-yo’s “Libra Scale” drops to #31 in its 2nd week!
