Farrah Franklin From Destiny's Child Arrested

Former Destiny’s Child member Farrah Franklin was arrested early Saturday morning for disorderly conduct. Cops in Culver City, California handcuffed Farrah around 6:45 AM on Saturday after receiving a disturbing the peace complaint. Police say alcohol was a factor in the arrest. Farrrah was freed after posting $100 bail.

Now, she’s threatening to sue the police! Farrah says she’s innocent of the charges and she claims the police “manhandled” her and arrested her because she’s black. Franklin told TMZ.com, "I was manhandled by the arresting officers... There were no female officers on duty and I was required to take off my top and treated unfairly."

Farrah also blew off some steam on Twitter with a post saying: “Yes, I'm okay & Yes there Will be a lawsuit ! F**K da Culver City Police !!!! You cant keep a good girl down."

NFL Players Take Battle to Courts

NFL action these days is taking place in the courtroom instead of the practice field, as the owners and players continue their labor dispute. Yesterday, the players went on the offense, going to court in St. Paul, Minnesota to obtain an injunction that would end the league's month-old lockout, but the play wasn't a total success.

Instead of granting the injunction, U.S. District Court Judge Susan Richard Nelson told lawyers for the NFL and the 10 players suing the league to play nice and try to work it out. If they can't, she'll decide in "a couple weeks" whether the team owners or the now-dissolved NFL Players Association have broken antitrust laws.
