Fall Must Haves: The Loafer for Women

Ladies there are a few different shoe choices that we have for this fall.The Loafer is menswear inspiration that's comfortable and cool. There is a lot more to the fall then just wearing boots. So the next time you are looking for a hot shoe to compete your look try a loafer. Some of my favorites are by Gucci and Prada but Cole Hann also make a couple affordable ones. Mens Fab Find Of The Day

So I came across this shoe this morning and fell in love with it. It is a Dolce & Gabbana Colorblock High Top Sneaker, it is both suede and leather with metallic leather trim. This sneaker retails for $360 but well worth the price since it is versatile. Let me know what you think of it.

Shopping For A Purpose: FFANY Shoes ON QVC

This Friday October 15,2010 QVC and the Fashion Footwear Association of New York (FFANY) are joining forces again for QVC Presents "FFANY Shoes on Sale" their annual breast cancer fundraiser. The three hour broadcast will offer more than 100,000 pairs of shoes donated from such brands as, Nine West, Fergie, Via Spiga, Michael Kors, Coach, and many others that will by sold at half of the manufactures suggested retail price. Over the the past 16 years QVC and FFANY together have donated more than $32 million to the cause. This year event is scheduled to be held Friday October 15, 2010 from 7pm - 10pm (ET). Please tune in and support this great cause.

Jimmy Choo:Ugg Limited Edition

Jimmy Choo has team up with Uggs to make limited edition boots for the fall/winter. They have added some spice to the boots in the form of studs and animal prints. The boots start at $595 which is not bad if you think more on the Jimmy Choo side and not the Ugg side. So what do you guys think, will you be buying a pair this season?

Falls Must Have Shoe: The Oxford

After all the high heels from the past few seasons it is time for us ladies to give our feet a rest during the day. As much as we love our ballet flats for daytime it is time to retire them and welcome the oxford. The oxford is a return of a classic shoe that is a quintessential piece in men's closets. But women are now embracing this menswear classic, pairing them with anything from cuffed jeans to dresses and tights. The key to getting the look right is to balance the masculine of the oxford with the feminine details of our outfit. So will you be wearing a pair this fall? Let me know!

Happy 75th Jack Purcell

This year marks the 75th Anniversary of Jack Purcell joining the Converse family. In 1935, Purcell designed a canvas and rubber badminton sneaker for Converse. These Converse look very similar to the Chuck Taylor All-Stars, but are distinguished by the smile across the toe. Converse is celebrating by introducing updated designs from the archives and new textures. The menswear-inspired leather brogue collection features a fun purple interior, wingtip details, and fun sparkling metallic finishes! Try wearing one of these updated designs on the weekend or even on the court.

The Red Sea of Studded Soles

The celebrities' favorite shoe designer, Christian Louboutin, has out done himself with his winter 2010 collection. There are lots of spikes and studs all around...it's a fresh take on rugged, no nonsense shoes. He has even added a studded sneaker to the line, which I love, but not for everyday wear. With him being such a popular brand franchise right now, we can't help but wonder how long it will be before he has his own official shoe in a store near you!? Would you buy these?
